My squares aren't showing up on my watch.
Bring the two devices near each other and open Fourfold on the iPhone. Sync runs whenever the watch is reachable, and queues when it isn't. If the watch app still looks empty, check it is actually installed in the iPhone Watch app.
A photo says "Syncing from iPhone…".
Photos travel separately from everything else and take a moment longer. Keep the devices close and it will fill in. If it stays stuck, open the photo tile on the iPhone once — the watch will ask for it again.
I bought Pro but the app doesn't know.
Tap Restore Purchase — on the paywall, or from the ⋯ menu on the iPhone home screen. Make sure you are signed in to the Apple Account you bought it with. Pro also carries across to your watch on the next sync.
Can I put a complication on my watch face?
Yes. Press and hold the face → Edit → Complications → pick a slot → choose Fourfold. It shows your four squares and opens the app when tapped. Circular, Corner, Rectangular and Inline are all supported.
Can a square launch another app?
No. watchOS gives apps no way to open arbitrary third-party apps, so Fourfold does not pretend to. Link tiles open web pages, which does work.
Why is the clock covering my top-right square?
watchOS draws the time over every app and gives no way to hide it. Fourfold's layout is designed around it.
